2020: our year in review

wow, what a year 2020 has been!  another year has come and gone and it's that time again for another annual year-in-review post.  i enjoy these posts each year because they are such a great way to close out the year and look back on all of the things that we packed into the past twelve months.  here are our highlights from 2020 . . .

in january, we rang in the new year and celebrated eight years with lekoi turned 35 and we celebrated by having dinner and seeing a movieryan and i had a romantic birthday dinner for two inside an igloo too!  i came down with the flu but then got better and we went to go see dancing with the stars live on tour!

in june, we cuddled close to leko, worked in the theatre, and went hiking on a new trailwe took our tandem bike out for a spin on our favorite trail and enjoyed the flowers blooming in our yardwe celebrated ryan's dad's birthday and father's day too.  we also got together with our families to celebrate father's day.

in july, we bought a truck and celebrated the 4th of july with our families.  we hiked the waterfalls at rickett's glen state park and visited hillside dairy farm.  we traveled to hickory run state park with my parents to hike the waterfall trail.  we visited the trolley museum and took a ride aboard the trolley with our familiesenjoyed some ice cream at manning dairy farm, and went blueberry picking.

in august, we celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary by having a vow renewal ceremony and party.  we finally got to do a little theatre work by filming a show with no audienceryan turned 36 and we had a little hawaiian luau themed party at our house with our parents.

in september, we celebrated labor day weekend by having our own little italian festival with our family and enjoyed the sunflowers that grew in our backyardleko turned nine years old!  joe biden came to town for a town hall event on cnn with anderson cooper and our local stagehands' union did the setup.  the weather turned chilly as fall came so we cuddled close with leko and enjoyed a little outdoor dining.  we took a trip to ritter's cider mill for apples and cider, then got a pumpkin at roba family farmsleko watched squirrels from the back porch, we biked the lehigh gorge bike trail in jim thorpe with my parents, i started teaching dance again, and leko decided to run for president again!
