this guy is worn out lately just like us! it's been a busy month of june for sure. i'd like to be able to fall asleep in a car seat and have someone drive me around!

watching the game
on a recent evening walk around the neighborhood, we found a girls' softball game happening at the local park. we stopped a few moments for noah to watch it. he was intrigued for a little while until we accidentally dropped his pacifier through the fence and we had to creatively find a way to get it out without disturbing the game!

we survived spring 2023 recital season!
we made it though lots of dance recitals this spring from april through june and we're exhausted. add a baby to recital season this year and wowza!
we ended the season on sunday with the dance studio where i teach. the recital was broadway themed which was right up my alley!
everyone did a great job and we're all super proud of them!

saying hi to butterflies
over father's day weekend, we joined my parents for the annual butterfly release event. it was noah's first butterfly release, and he enjoyed seeing the butterflies float around the park. he intently watched them and really wanted to hold them . . . maybe next year little guy!

a trip to the park with a picnic
i never got a chance to share these photos . . . on the friday of memorial day weekend, ryan had to work an event but noah and i had off, so we packed up and headed to the park with grandma and grandpa for a stroll, swing, and picnic
