noah does not like to sit down for long at all. he's an "on the go" type of a guy and can't be bothered by stopping to sit unless it involves sitting in his highchair to eat.
my mom brought up to our house this big orange pillow that my aunt made when i was little. noah has been loving walking over to it and sitting down (but just for a second). it has been cute!

today is national pumpkin day! although we didn't get a real pumpkin yet to decorate our house (except for that tiny white one from the cider mill) we do have some fake decorative pumpkins that we've been decorating the house with and noah is particularly drawn to the one with the kitty on the front of it!

noah has been loving playing at this table that ryan built. i caught him the other morning so happy to be playing at the table which is the perfect height for him!

these two brothers have completely taken over the bed. this was the view yesterday morning. there's hardly any space for us to fit with them! at least those guys are comfortable!

i've mentioned before that ryan has a knack for finding four-leaf clovers without even trying. recently he found this humongous one and it's the largest i've ever seen!

we sure work a lot of odd events, but few top sunday's "circus on ice" at the theatre. we actually put synthetic ice on the stage for performers to skate on and it was a bit wild.
there were skaters and stunt performers, and the kids in the audience seemed to love it! you can see more photos from the event on the theatre's facebook page here.

on saturday, we had a bruce springsteen tribute at the theatre. other than "born in the usa" i didn't think i knew many springsteen songs, it turns out i knew a few. the audience enjoyed it and it's one more show checked off this fall season's list!

we had a busy weekend at the theatre with back-to-back shows and noah was there to help with it all! on saturday, he grabbed a microphone and the stage plot to help ryan set up for the band. he even knew which type of mic cable and stand we needed too! he's such a great little stage hand!
noah is a ball of energy 24 hours a day. truly, he is nonstop. he loves to dance and now he is getting into gymnastic tricks. yes, he is only 13 months old, but he doesn't realize that.
the other day he took the pillow off the couch and repeatedly kept sitting on it and trying to roll backwards as if to do a backwards summersault. i didn't get video or pictures of the whole ordeal because i was too busy trying to keep his head from hitting the floor but i did snap one blurry photo of the action. what a nut!

the fall main-stage production this year was "a midsummer night's dream" at the university where ryan and i work. this show was quite the project. as usual, i designed costumes and ryan designed the lights, built the set, and oversaw everything tech related.
it was a successful run this past weekend and we are beyond exhausted and wiped out from it! now onto the next one!

on saturday we had a cars tribute band perform at the theatre. i really didn't think i knew any cars' songs prior to the show but it turned out i recognized a few. it was a hectic night and i have been fighting a head cold all week so it was an exhausting show. now onto this weekend with more shows!

today this little blog of mine turns 12 years old. i'm not sure how it has been 12 years since i started this adventure back in 2011 on a whim. i'm grateful for my little corner of the internet as a virtual scrapbook to chronicle the highlights of our lives.

we were in the car the other night and it was chilly so i put noah's little knit blanket across his lap. i looked over and he had wiggled his little toes through the knit parts of the blanket. it was cute, but then i had to rescue his toes!

it was a little chilly the other day so we put noah in his fuzzy hooded vest to go on an errand. those little ears on the hood were so adorable!
