sunday was another cool and rainy day, so we took noah to bee's backyard indoor play place. the last time he was there was almost 2 years ago. it was a good way for him to get out some energy and for mom and dad to contort their bodies for the chiropractor.

memorial day weekend was cool and rainy, so we spent saturday taking a little road trip to allentown to visit the da vinci science center. there were a lot of really interesting exhibits to check out and it was a good indoor activity for a rainy day.
we kicked off the long memorial day weekend on friday by picking noah up early from school and taking him to lakeland orchard. we haven't had a chance to go to lakeland the past few weekends because we were either busy with shows, or it has been raining.
we were happy to get back. noah missed his favorite bee ride and made up for lost time by riding it 3 times!

even though it's chilly and rainy, we're very happy to have a day off work and school today!

we have all been so busy that we decided to make mother's day easy by getting take out and ice cream cake for dinner on my parents' back porch. it was a nice a simple way to celebrate.

you've heard of ladies who lunch . . . this is babies who brunch. we made a quick stop at wired and inspired on mother's day for an early lunch before running an errand and a certain someone loved having brunch outside.

we have been living at the theatre for the past few weeks with massive dance productions back-to-back. noah is our supervisor after school.

noah made some adorable art for mother's day. in preschool they made bouquets of flowers and each students worked on making their flowers little-by-little throughout the week. the tulips were noah's handprints, and he made lavender, sunflowers, and dandelions too. he ended up making two bouquets, one for mom and one for dad.
on friday morning at school they had "muffins with mom" where we got to go in and share muffins while making this cute little art project together with dried flowers and butterfly stickers.

if you need lawn care services, you know who to call! mr. noah does it all, including weed wacking.

it was so lovely to see this pretty tree blooming outside the dance studio recently when i went to teach dance class. i know these trees only bloom for a short period of time, so i was glad to see it, especially on such a dreary day.

noah asked to turn his toy car into a "street sweeper" at mama's big show. he got the broom and i got the gaff tape. it worked (and my stage got cleaned too)!

a few recent preschool snapshots of some art projects, play time in the classroom, noah's favorite pink car on the playground, and creepy crawlers week with a toy spider that looked way too real to mom!

i was so honored to win another award last week at the university where i teach. this one was for "advisor of the year" and i received it at the annual leadership award ceremony. i am so touched that my students nominated me for this award, and shocked to have won!
