"lights in the parkway"

we wanted to do something christmassy over the weekend, so we took a drive to allentown with my parents to see the "lights in the parkway" christmas light display.  we figured it would be busy since it was a saturday night, but we had absolutely no idea how busy it would be!

when we got there, we had to wait in line in our car forever (about 1 hour and 40 minutes) to get to the entrance.  the light display itself takes about 20 minutes to drive through.  even though it was very busy it was really nice.

we also had no idea how foggy it would be on saturday night.  i don't think i've ever seen fog like that before!  it was a slow drive home, but the fog gave the lights a neat effect.  here are some photos i snapped on my phone . . .

love, laurie

Wow, was it busy and foggy. The lights were very beautiful. We all the cars, I am surprised we only waited a hours and 40 minutes. I think when they detoured us, that helped get us through faster. The lights were very nice to see.
