the boys had fun playing in the dirt and planting some flowers in the planters outside our garage door.

we took a trip out to the bike trail for the first time this season. noah enjoyed riding along on dad's bike and stoping at a few playgrounds along the way to play too!

over the weekend my dad attended the annual butterfly release. he came home to us with extra butterflies and we had a nice little ceremony of our own releasing them near the flowers. noah was especially happy that one landed on his finger and then his leg!
our neighbors invited us over for a little summer gathering, and noah enjoyed cooling off in the baby pool. he also enjoyed dunking himself in the bucket of water for the water balloons.

mr. noah has been a big help at all of mama's "big shows" recently!
and he's always game to test out whatever scenery we have on stage!

we all got together last week to celebrate ryan's dad's birthday with sandwiches and a chocolate chip cookie cake!

some recent snapshots of what noah has been up to at preschool and some of his awesome artwork.
noah's class planted seeds at school and then brought them home. we have been watering the seeds daily and keeping them on the kitchen window to get sun. noah loves to check them out every morning to see how much they have grown!

we have been working non-stop lately. we finally had a random tuesday without anything terribly important that needed to be done, so we took the day off to take noah to knoebels. tuesdays in june are buy-one-get-one-free ride wristbands, so it was perfect. the weather was gorgeous and we packed so much into our day.

the dance studio where i teach had their annual spring dance recital this weekend at the theater and it went great! the show was "museum after midnight" which was such a great theme that we brought to life.
this show was extra fun because i got to record approximately 40 voiceovers that played between each song to guide the audience through the "museum" and that was so much fun to do!

the weather was beautiful on friday, so we picked noah up from preschool really early and headed to lakeland orchard to enjoy the nice day. he managed to fit in 3 bee rides, 2 carousel rides, 2 train rides, a visit to the animals, and some bouncing on the jump pillow!

a playground near our house recently got a whole new look thanks to a complete renovation from the city. they demolished the old playground which was really showing its age and built a completely new one in its place.
we were so excited to check it out recently. the new design is so bright, open, and colorful. noah really liked the new playground equipment, complete with a gigantic yellow slide which is unlike anything we've ever seen anywhere else. thank you to all of the local officials who secured the grant funding to make this project possible!

noah is convinced that that the red robin statue in the lobby owns the restaurant and cooks the food. so he kept saying “thank you, red robin, for making dessert and dinner that was yummy!” legit i wish i had it on video, i could have sent it to corporate. when we left he had to visit the red robin statue in the lobby to give it a thumbs up, say thank you, give it a kiss on the beak, and then say “see you soon!”
too funny!
