happy 1st birthday, noah!

today noah turns one year old.  the past year has been a time warp and i'm not even sure how we are here 12 months later celebrating his first birthday.

noah is curious, wild, brave, loving, and full of non-stop energy.  looking back at these photos of him over the last year is truly surreal.

a birthday night out at the harford fair

we were looking for something fun to do on monday for ryan's birthday, so we went to the harford fair with his mom and dad.  we didn't go to any county fairs last year, and we haven't been to the harford fair for several years.

noah was great and enjoyed the whole experience in the papoose.  he saw a bunch of different farm animals and even rode the ferris wheel and the carousel.  what a brave little man!

noah's first time in a real pool!

before the pizza and cake on saturday, we all headed to the pool to play for ryan's birthday.  a brand new pool and splash pad just opened right by ryan's parents' house and we were excited to try it out.

noah had never been in a real pool before (just our little inflatable one in our back yard).  he absolutely loved it and it was a hoot to watch him walk right into that pool like a pro as if he had done it before.

we all had a great time enjoying the pool with the birthday boy and noah!

we got together with our families at ryan's parents' house on saturday to celebrate ryan's birthday.  we had pizza, salad, and ice cream cake too!  

i didn't realize until after that i never got any photos of ryan opening his presents because i was too preoccupied chasing noah up and down the stairs.
