we've been working on this show for weeks, but today we get the public in the theatre as our audience.
dear goodness gracious, pray for us because nutcracker #1 starts today.
i pray we stay sane!

this guy loves apples! he had to carry this one the entire car ride to mama's big show so that he could eat it there at the theatre. what a nut!

this guy has spent lots of time at mama's big shows lately since we have had so many shows back-to-back!

some recent photos from preschool of practicing cutting with scissors, cleaning off a dirty toy truck, play dough, a new fun tent, and our family homework to disguise a turkey for thanksgiving (ours is a box of crayons).

sometimes this guy likes a little living room picnic on his playmat for a snack. what a ham for the camera!

some recent artwork from our little preschool scholar . . . a firetruck, mosaic candy corn, a fish tank, and a spider. (i know the artwork won't hold up and last forever, so i'm trying to be diligent about taking pictures of all of it so we have the memories!)

this guy always has the best seat in the house for mama's shows at the theatre. he is the best spot light operator too!

someone stole my vest and had to wear it to look just like mama. he even got his toy cell phone and put it in the vest pocket just like me.

lakeland and roba's have officially closed for the season. we had to take a trip to both locations on november 2 since it was their last day. we started off at lakeland to ride all of noah's favorite rides and then pick some last apples. after, we headed over to roba's to say goodbye.
we're looking forward to the 2026 season!
poor grandma is going to need a chiropractor appointment after playing horse with a very heavy three year old!

noah has been to the dentist a total of 3 times so far. the first 2 times were just trips to get him acquainted with the dentist and to count his teeth. this most recent visit was his first-ever cleaning and he did a great job! way to go, noah!

the theatre where we work was lucky enough to win the "best live entertainment" award in our newspaper's local readers' choice awards. this is the fifth year in a row that we have won this award! we're very grateful that the theatre was recognized and that so many people voted for us!
a few recent snapshots from preschool . . . learning how to ride a horse, decorating pumpkins, coloring, dressing up as a fireman, and finger painting!

noah had a blast celebrating halloween!
once october came, noah helped us set up halloween decorations around the house and put up his giant pumpkin outside.
the month of october has been busy in preschool with lots of fun hands-on halloween activities. i love seeing what the kids are making each day in class, they have such clever projects!
i spent days making our halloween costumes this year. with lots of felt, glue, cotton batting, fabric, foam balls, and pipe cleaners, i cranked out three matching ice cream cone costumes with whipped cream and cherry headbands! we took noah to the fabric store a few weeks ago and let him help pick out the colors for the flavors of the ice cream and he enjoyed helping.
noah got to dress up as a skeleton for halloween at school before changing into his ice cream costume for the school halloween party. we dressed up with him at school and everyone loved our matching costumes.
after school, we had fun getting together with everyone to have pizza and brownies, and then go trick-or-treating! it was chilly and so incredibly windy, but we had a good time!
