this weekend was a busy one! i worked the load in, full 5-show run, and load out of the broadway tour of "waitress" the musical when it came to town.
ryan and i saw this show on broadway back in the fall of 2018 and we absolutely loved it. i've been looking forward to the tour coming to town since it was announced well over a year ago. i was happy to be available to work the whole weekend for the full show. i was on props crew and this certainly is a prop-heavy show. there are over 50 fake prop pies on set and lots of real food too which i got to help prepare. i really enjoyed it since i'm a baker, so i had no problem prepping pie crust and cutting pies before each show.
ryan came to see the show on friday night and then joined me for the load out sunday night.

That sounds like a lot of work! I hope you enjoyed doing it even though it must have been exhausting! You need to take a break.
That was a really funny show. I am glad we got to see it by ushering.
