oh boy, noah sure did love christmas! we celebrated christmas day at our house by opening presents with noah in the morning, then getting together with our families for brunch. after noah's afternoon nap, we reconvened for a yummy dinner and our traditional tiaramisu dessert.
we all got together at ryan's parents' house on christmas eve for lunch. noah got into christmas right away and loved the festivities. he loved eating, opened up some presents from ryan's parents, and really had a great time.
later in the evening after nap time, we got together with my parents to exchange gifts. noah really liked handing out gifts and also opening them up to "see inside" each present. he sure enjoyed his third christmas!
we ran into hobby lobby before christmas and noah decided he was going to "shop" for himself. he picked out some paper plates and a teeny tiny little christmas tree. it was adorable and $4 so we let him have it.
this little tree has brought him so much joy. as soon as we got home, he put it up in his playroom and decorated it all on his own with his toys!

the bunny, which noah affectionately refers to as "hop," has been making its way into bed. noah decided that they both had to be tucked in one morning and it was cute.

it's a long-standing tradition at the university where we work to light up the christmas tree in the middle of the routunda the first week of december. this was noah's first time going to the event and he was really excited to see the big tree!
