a merry little kitty christmas

leko is still enjoying the christmas tree skirts so we haven't taken down our two christmas trees yet.  we'll let him get as much enjoyment out of them as possible before they are all packed up for the year.

christmas 2025

we celebrated christmas eve and christmas day with our family and noah sure enjoyed himself.

we went to my parents' house on christmas eve for a festive dinner followed by dessert and noah diving into presents from grandma and grandpa.

on christmas morning, noah had a good time finding something under the christmas tree at home.  he played all morning and then everyone came to our house for dinner and dessert with even more present opening!

noah's nutcracker

we saw this nutcracker balloon at home goods for $3.99 and we couldn't resist buying it for noah.  noah is obsessed with nutcrackers since he has done so many nutcracker ballets with us at the theatre.  we blew up the balloon with air at home and he was in love!

the next morning when he woke up he made the nutcraker have a bowl of cereal with us for breakfast because the nutcracker was hungry . . . 

. . . well, it lasted about 24 hours in total before he popped it.

we took a trip to see the festival of lights on monday night and it did not disappoint!  we were only ever there once before 3 years ago, so it was nice to return.

our 2025 christmas cards

we threw together our christmas cards on shutterfly between shows and we're happy with the way they turned out.  we love doing christmas cards each year, especially photo cards, since it's such a great way to share snapshots of the past year with family and friends!

christmas day 2025

oh boy, noah sure did love christmas!  we celebrated christmas day at our house by opening presents with noah in the morning, then getting together with our families for brunch.  after noah's afternoon nap, we reconvened for a yummy dinner and our traditional tiaramisu dessert.

christmas eve 2024

we all got together at ryan's parents' house on christmas eve for lunch.  noah got into christmas right away and loved the festivities.  he loved eating, opened up some presents from ryan's parents, and really had a great time.

later in the evening after nap time, we got together with my parents to exchange gifts.  noah really liked handing out gifts and also opening them up to "see inside" each present.  he sure enjoyed his third christmas!
