wow, i really can't believe that today's the first day of september. i know that it's not technically fall yet, but somehow i feel ready to break out the fall decor and decorate the house. i feel ready for pumpkin-flavored everything too. i'm trying to restrain myself though, because to me labor day is the true end of summer.
in the meantime, i'm enjoying the sunflowers that are blooming in our yard!

That is a stunning picture and you guys grow them. Yes, I agree that I can't believe it is September and I do not feel like I had a summer because I didn't do anything for summer fun. I am getting the urge for pumpkin and spice but holding off since I can't wrap my mind around fall.
