blizzard of '17

well, the blizzard of '17 (#stella) hit us hard and left us with over 2 feet of snow!  work was closed yesterday and again today (which is unheard of) and there is a travel ban in effect because the roads are so incredibly bad.  it took us over 3 hours yesterday just to dig out our sidewalks and driveway only to find everything snow covered again this morning . . . ugg!  i'm so over this winter weather and i'm ready for palm trees.

love, laurie

Your area got a lot more snow than we did here. I estimate only about 16 inches although it is hard to tell because of the drifting. After those days of 60 and 70-degree weather this snow is just too much!

You really did get hit. The news said your city got 25 inches. I think we had about 20ish. I hope you brought that little bird inside to warm up!
This storm beats out the Blizzard of '93. I remember that being a long time to dig out. Thankfully we did not loose power at all. I should not say that too loud because the wind is still blowing.
I agree this storm is not welcomed this time of the year only the days off from school. But who wants to make the up.
I am also dreaming of palm trees.
