happy friday and happy april! i'm not a fan of april fools day jokes/pranks at all, so i'm hoping that everyone is kind today. the university where i work always does a prank on the home page of their website each year for april fools day. some years it's clever, this year it's just dumb.
they say "april showers bring may flowers" and the forecast today on this first day of april is calling for showers. i don't mind one bit if it means that we will have beautiful flowers to look at in may. fingers crossed! i'm ready for flowers and spring!
i'm thrilled it's friday today. we have a busy weekend ahead of us, but tonight i'm looking forward to a father-daughter date with my dad. he is my +1 at a work event tonight and then he is accompanying me to a show. i'm looking forward to it!
