on sunday, my dance studio presented its annual christmas dance show and holiday dinner. i was so happy to be a part of it this year. i danced in two numbers, one was a jazz number to "you're a mean one, mr. grinch" and the other was a ballet number to "angels we have heard on high."
we danced at a local hall and after the performance everyone had dinner together. there were over 100 people there so it was pretty crowded, and everyone had a good time.
it was fun to be able to work on yet another show with ryan who ended up doing the lighting, running the sound board, and video recording the show. god bless him! between everything he was doing, ryan managed to get a few pictures. (they are a bit fuzzy because of the combination of the lighting and all of the movement, but at least we have a few snapshots.)
here are a few pictures from the "you're a mean one, mr. grinch" senior class jazz number . . .
Everyone did a great job and worked from the heart. Great show, cute costumes, and nice music. Great job also to the lighting and sound man.
It looks like fun! Whatever would you do without Ryan?!?
