christmas lights

one of our favorite things to do during the holidays is to look at christmas lights.  a few nights ago, we got in the car after dinner and drove around looking at christmas lights while listening to christmas music on the radio.  we covered a lot of ground, looking at houses in several different neighborhoods.

our favorite light display was this one.  two neighbors combined forces to decorate their houses and their yards.  both of their houses are covered in lights, and almost every square inch of their yards are covered in all different types of decorations.  it's absolutely incredible.  it took the families 8 weeks to set up the display!  we got to see the display from the front and the back, since there is an alley which runs behind the houses.  needless to say, the families are collecting donations to help pay for their electricity bills!  here is a really neat aerial video of the light display that a local company filmed with their drone.

merry christmas eve!
love, laurie

Wow, that is quite the display and very orderly too! I love the video taken by the drone. It really shows it off well.

That is impressive how many items they have on the lawn. What a collaborative effort. The aerial view really shows the massiveness of the display.
