i had a wonderful weekend celebrating my birthday! on friday after work, ryan and i ordered take out (chicken parmesan and garlic knots) which we enjoyed at home. ryan made me a devil's food cake birthday cake that looked like a present, and it was delicious. i opened presents and we rented a
movie. it was a perfect low-key birthday evening at home with the one i love!
on saturday, ryan made me my favorite breakfast: a german apple puffed pancake. our parents came up to our house, and they got to meet our new baby kitten! i had such a good time visiting with everyone. ryan and i made dill salmon for dinner, and my mom made me an awesome birthday cake: chocolate cake filled with raspberries and topped with whipped cream!
on sunday, ryan and i continued the birthday celebrations with my mom by going out for dinner and ice cream. after, we came home and collapsed on the couch in our pajamas to watch a
movie with our furry baby.
i had an absolutely perfect weekend spent with my favorite people!
i can't think of anything better!
