noah's sand box

noah loves the sand table at preschool.  one of his friends bought him a kinetic sand box for his birthday, and he enjoyed playing with it on the back patio.

i have had the privilege of being on wbre-tv's "pa live" show many different times over the years.  recently, i visited the studio again to film a segment about the theatre and it aired twice this month.

more birthday celebrations for noah!

noah sure has had a lot of 4th birthday celebrations this month!  

we celebrated on the day of his birthday by going to lakeland and red robin.  then, we had a birthday party for his friends in the neighborhood at grandma and grandpa's house.  this past weekend we had yet another party at our house for our family and friends.  needless to say, we are worn out from all of the birthday celebrations.

noah's first day of preschool 4

it's so hard to believe that it has been one year since noah started preschool.  he did such a good job in his preschool 3 classroom this past year.  now that he is officially 4, he has moved up to the preschool 4 classroom.

noah started preschool 4 on monday.  he is such a big boy now.  we are so proud of him, he did a really great job at school.

celebrating the birthday boy

friday was noah's 4th birthday and we let him stay home from school.  ryan had to work, so noah and i headed to lakeland for some noah/mom time at his favorite place on earth.  

he had a lot of fun riding all of his favorite rides, and his favorite tractor driver made him feel extra special with a sweet present and a birthday song.

when dad came home, we asked noah what he wanted for dinner and he said "macaroni and cheese from red robin" so that's where we took him for dinner and he was in his glory.

he celebrated his birthday on thursday with his classmates and i made chocolate cookies for him to take into school.  his sweet teacher made him an adorable birthday crown to wear for the day.

noah is four!

last weekend we celebrated noah's birthday with a party for the neighborhood kids in my parent's yard.  (so glad grandma and grandpa have a flat yard, because ours is so steep!)

we set up all of the water slides and water toys in the yard, and all of the kids had a blast on such a nice warm august day.

we had pizza, pretzels, pasta salad, veggies/dip, cookies and cupcakes.  i think noah really enjoyed his kids' party!

ryan's birthday

we celebrated ryan's birthday on friday by going to dinner at red robin with our family and then coming back home for cupcakes on the deck.

the wayne county fair

we took a trip to the wayne county fair after work so that noah could do his favorite thing ever: see the tractors.  he had a grand time sitting on the tractors and pretending to drive them.  we rode a few rides and made it to the car just in time as it started raining.
