christmas day 2022

noah's first christmas!!!

oh boy, we enjoyed christmas day with our little elf.  we spent the day at our house and it was nice to be home on christmas day, especially for noah's first christmas.

we started off the morning by opening presents under the tree in our matching pjs.  noah was really into it and it was absolutely adorable. after presents, we changed him into his christmas outfit and he snuggled up for a long winter's nap!  he really needed to rest and recharge.  he slept all the way through the christmas meal on my lap.

after recharging, he was ready to go for exchanging presents with ryan's parents.  he loved it.

christmas eve 2022

we celebrated christmas eve on saturday at my parents' house with our families.  we relaxed, ate way too much, and exchanged gifts with my parents.  noah's first christmas eve was great and he absolutely loved it!  he got so into opening the presents and enjoyed the wrapping paper and ribbons as much as the gifts!

it was a great day with memories i'll cherish forever.  we took a ton of photos of noah's first christmas eve.  here are just a few combined from everyone's phones . . .

how i get things done

how do i get computer work done?  simple . . . prop myself up on the couch with a million pillows, wait for the baby to fall asleep on my lap on the boppy, and have a cuddly leko next to me.  that's how i'm most productive to get all my administrative work done on my laptop!

merry christmas!

it's christmas day!  christmas day is extra special for us because we got engaged on christmas day in 2007 and found out i was pregnant with noah on christmas day in 2021.  

this photo is from last year on christmas day . . . it's mind-blowing to thing that a whole year has gone by and noah is now here with us!

we hope everyone has a lovely christmas.  we're definitely looking forward to celebrating noah's first christmas today!

our 2022 christmas cards

we were so busy this fall that i didn't know if we'd get a chance to do christmas cards, but we couldn't miss a year (especially with noah).  we threw together these cards on shutterfly between shows and we're happy with the way they turned out.

we love doing christmas cards each year, especially photo cards, since it's such a great way to share snapshots of the past year with family and friends!
