"dancing at lughnasa"

this past weekend was the fall main stage production at the university where ryan and i work.  we've been working on "dancing at lughnasa" for months and i honestly can't believe that it's finally over.  i did the costume design for the show, but ryan did everything else including: designing the lights, designing the audio, building the set, overseeing all of the students, and acting as both technical director and production manager for the show.  this show has been a real labor of love for ryan who has been working on it nonstop.

i'm so proud of ryan for the incredible work he did on this show.  these few photos don’t even begin to do it justice.  the details he put into everything were unbelievable!  god bless ryan, he definitely needs a day away from the theatre!

love, laurie

I am so glad you were able to take good pictures. We really enjoyed the play. Everything was so good and that is because all of the hard work and talent you guys put into it. The set, lighting, costumes, actors, and actresses were great. It felt like it was a Disney set.
Bravo!!

Wow, the set looks amazing! I'm so glad to finally see it since we had to miss the show. I love the details in the fireplace, the props, and that beautiful raised stone floor. That must have been a job in itself to create that. The costumes fit with the time period when this story took place. Great job both of you! Great attention to detail!
