spending time with butterflies

on saturday afternoon, we all went to a butterfly release before going out to dinner at stroudsmoor.  we were grateful that it didn't rain, but boy was it chilly!  it was shockingly cold and windy for the middle of june.  the butterflies stuck around a lot longer than they normally would have due to the weather.  so, it was nice to be able to see them for a bit longer before they flew away.

a few of them didn't want to go and clung right to our clothing.  it was cute!

love, laurie

We were lucky to be able to see those beautiful butterflies for such a long time. It was a beautiful service.

The butterflies were funny how they hung around. We must have been giving off heat and they were cold. I love the one that I opened chose not to go to the flower in the tree but turned around and flew to you. I wonder who told him to do that. Someone was glad you were there and was saying Hi.
