getting ready for the nutty-cracker

even though the first nutcracker of our season doesn't officially start until today, we have been working on the nutcracker for several days.  earlier this week we had to rent a large lift-gate truck to move a bunch of scenery, props, wardrobe, etc.

someone snapped this photo of us unloading the base of the christmas tree.  that thing sure is a beast and good gracious it was freezing cold that day!

wish us luck as we gather the crew together bright and early this morning for the official start of the nutcracker!

love, laurie

Best of Luck to you all for the Nutcracker. I would have thought that the Ballet Company people would have brought in the props and scenery.
