always something crazy

i do a whole lot when shows come to town, but i most certainly do not transport the talent/musicians.  well, never say never i guess because after a crazy mix up with the agent that's exactly what ryan and i ended up having to do this weekend for our beatles tribute show.

thank goodness our company had 12-passenger vans because we needed them to drive everyone back-and-forth to the airport/hotel/venue.  we just couldn't get over the fact that we had to do this, so to make a joke out of it we printed out a sign like you see in the movies when people pick people up at airports.  it was a crazy weekend, and i'm glad we got them back-and-forth safely.

(i guess sticking your tongue out while driving helps you concentrate?)
love, laurie

Love the Sign! Hope the musicians got a kick out of that. Now you can put on your resume "airport transfer." Good thing you have Ryan to drive the van. You two will do anything for the saying, "the show must go on."

Wow, such a busy time. It's a good thing that the van was available so you could fit in everyone and their belongings. The sign is definitely a cute idea!
