skywood park

last weekend we visited my parents in the poconos.  we made turkey ravioli with my mom and spent quality time together.  after dinner we packed up our dessert (homemade pumpkin ice cream) and took it to skywood park.  the park sits on the location of the old pocono mountain inn resort.  the resort, which was in its prime in the 1950s, is no longer there, but the park is beautiful to walk around.  we sat outside on a park bench, devoured our pumpkin ice cream, and absorbed the view of the delaware water gap. 

a perfect way to spend an afternoon and enjoy each other's company!
