lots of trips to lakeland

noah loves lakeland orchard, and with our season passes we try to visit at least once each weekend.  he is a regular there and the employees recognize him.  ha!

24 hours in king of prussia

we took an overnight trip down to king of prussia outside philly recently for a doctor appointment, so noah had a whirlwind adventure.  it was his first time ever staying in a hotel and he did really good.

we visited the king of prussia mall, ikea, and trader joes while we were down there.  we had some yummy meals and ice cream too at the request of mr. noah!

noah's favorite place

i'm really glad we ended up getting season passes to lakeland orchard again this year, because for the second summer in a row it has been noah's favorite place to hang out and play.  he just can't get enough of the train ride, the jumping pillow, the tractors, the carousel . . . all of it!

best seat in the house

noah was captivated and enthralled watching a cher tribute band from the balcony of the theatre recently.

he's so funny.  he definitely always has the best seat in the house at mama's "big shows."

noah's balance bike

based on the recommendation of sooooooo many people, we got noah a balance bike and he loves it.  he has used it in the driveway, on the sidewalk, and even up and down the aisles at work with mom in the theatre!

tiny gardener

noah was really excited to help dad plant some flowers in the planters to decorate the front of the house.  he was too cute in those tiny gardening gloves.

king of summer

when the temperatures have been hot, hot, hot we have been pulling out the inflatable pool and hooking up the hose to the water slide for noah to cool him off.  

needless to say, he loves it and would stay in it all day everyday if we let him!

we do not possess the ability to go to a hardware store anymore without sitting on all of the riding lawn mowers.

this guy cracks me up

while i was teaching the first of the summer dance classes, ryan and noah went to a park that is near the dance studio.  i packed them sandwiches and yogurt.  in the middle of class ryan sent me this picture of noah sitting under the pavilion at a picnic table eating his dinner and it cracked me up!

visiting the crayola experience

we took a trip to easton to visit the crayola experience.  it was a great indoor activity on a rainy summer day.  we saw lots of neat exhibits and were able to do a bunch of hands-on stuff too.  we will definitely go back again to spend more time there and see everything they have to offer.

this guy has been practicing his peddling on his tricycle at mom's theatre!  luckily there's lots of space there to work on getting the hang of it!

noah LOVES excavators so imagine how excited he was to find out that grandma and grandpa had one in their backyard to do their landscaping!

blueberry picking at lakeland orchard

we enjoyed picking strawberries and raspberries at lakeland this summer, so we were happy to be able to pick blueberries too.  noah helped us fill up our container and we really enjoyed eating them at home!

remember this picture of noah riding his red tricycle that was in the newpaper two summers ago?  well, he's a bit bigger now, but he still gets a lot of use out of that same red tricycle up and down the hallways at mom's theatre!

a train ride for noah

we were looking for an activity on a hot summer morning and stumbled across an advertisement for train excursions that day, so we took a little spur-of-the-moment trip down to the steamtown national historic train site for a ride.

noah enjoyed his 45-minute trip and really enjoyed seeing the trains up close and personal after.  it has been awhile since noah has been to the train museum, so he really enjoyed it!

celebrating the fourth of july!

on thursday, we celebrated the fourth of july at our house with a picnic on the back deck.  noah kept everyone entertained by playing with his water table, splashing in his little pool, and watering the lawn.

on friday, we checked out a local town's festival where noah got to play on the playground, climb inside a real firetruck for their touch-a-truck event, and see some fireworks.
