a stop at hillside dairy farm

after our day hiking at rickett's glen state park, we passed right through hillside dairy farm on our drive home.  we decided to stop at the farm to stretch our legs and check it out.  it was an adorable historic, non-profit, 412-acre educational dairy farm.

we were able to wonder around the farm and stop at the shop for some homemade ice cream.  we shared coconut ice cream and peanut butter brownie ice cream which were both delicious!

i look forward to going back to the farm another time.  here are a few snapshots . . .

love, laurie

The day lilies are beautiful. I love the color, they appear pink and orange two-tone. Reminds me a little of Quiet Valley. The homemade ice cream sounds delicious.
