summer hiking

we've lived in this area for so long but we never knew there were public hiking trails behind keystone college.  we recently learned about them, so we heading out on saturday for an adventure to check them out.  the weather was gorgeous and it was the perfect day to spend hours outside exploring the trails and enjoying nature.  it felt so good to breathe the fresh air and stretch our legs!

a few pictures from our adventure . . .

love, laurie

It looks quiet and peaceful on that trail. I like the little structure made of river rocks. Those flowers are pretty. I wonder what they are called. They match Ryan's shirt pretty well.

That looks like a neat suspension bridge. Beautiful flower and waterways on the trails.
