quarantine porch time

when it's warm enough, we have been enjoying sitting on our back screened-in porch.  leko also loves it.  we have played many rounds of scrabble and yahtzee to keep us entertained.  another board game that we recently dug out of our basement and dusted off was a 1960s parcheesi game.  it was fun to re-learn how to play that game.  playing parcheesi was the perfect way to pass the time while waiting for our baked chocolate doughnuts to bake in the oven before we dipped them in peanut butter glaze.  yum!

love, laurie

Wow, I have not seen a parcheesi board in a long time. I forgot all about that and that was a favorite of mine growing up. Playing games and baking, you guys got this. It sure relieves your stress level during this crisis.

The doughnuts look delicious. The Parcheesi game brings back a lot of memories. We used to play it with the kids a lot and my parents and I used to play it with relatives a lot, just sitting out on the patio in the evening.

Parcheesi is actually the forerunner to the current game Trouble, which we have played with Davis and Grant countless times.
