gingerbread village

while we were at stroudsmoor on sunday admiring their christmas lights, we took a peek at their elaborate gingerbread village.  every year, their bakers and pastry chefs make such gorgeous gingerbread creations.  this year, we thought it was really clever that they used slivered almonds for the walkways between the gingerbread houses.  we also enjoyed the miniature bicycles too!

love, laurie

I love the details on the clock and all of the houses. That must take a long time and a lot of patience and talent.

Very pretty. I especially like the lights that are included. It really makes the colors stand out on the buildings.
