walking home from the dance studio late last night it was 48 degrees outside. this morning we woke up to a snow storm, and now we have 6 inches of snow and counting! it's march and i'm ready for spring, not more shoveling! i feel really badly for all of the folks who will be standing outside this weekend for all of the saint patrick's day parades. we'll be inside trying to stay warm!

I agree it was not fun waking up to schools canceled and 4 inches of snow and having to shovel.
I feel sorry for the tiger lilies and other flowers that have started poking their little heads out of the ground in our yeard. Some are about 2 inches up already and I know they won't like this snow.
I like your tree with the large pine cones. I also liked a snow-covered evergreen with pine cones.
