my top ten christmas songs

when i was little, i watched christmas eve on sesame street probably a million times.  my favorite part of the movie was in the very beginning, when big bird ice skated with the little girl to the song feliz navidad.  i watched it over and over and over, and my mom "ice skated" with me in our living room over and over and over.  my mom would pick me up and twirl me around just like big bird did with the little girl in the movie.  i'm surprised i did not wear out that vhs tape, or wear a hole in the carpet from so much twirling.  ever since then, every time i hear the song felize navidad, i think of my mom twirling me around in our living room with big bird ice skating in the background.  needless to say, it is now one of my all-time favorite christmas songs.  here are some of my other favorite christmas songs that i love to listen to each year . . .

1. o holy night
2. carol of the bells
3. all i want for christmas is you
4. have yourself a merry little christmas
5. sleigh ride
6. rockin' around the christmas tree
7. jingle bell rock
8. have a holly jolly christmas
9. white christmas
10. it's beginning to look a lot like christmas

(i also love mele kalikimaka too)
what are your favorite christmas songs?

Oh what fun! I remember that so well and really enjoyed playing big bird and skating in the living room with my doll, What a great pas deux ice skating team we made. We rehearsed over and over and over again and again. That has become my favorite Christmas show also because of the fun we had and the show is not a tear-jerk er. I hate tear-jerking shows. You started watching that at the end of November and watched it every day (some times several times) until July. No exaggeration.

I like Peace of Earth also and What Child is This.
I heard a song the other day that I never heard before and it was very nice. "Mary Did You Know?" by Clay Aiken.
