noah never stops. never. he wore himself out the other day and laid down on my lap on the couch for a few minutes. it didn't last long before he was recharged enough to keep going. i cannot understand why this kid doesn't like to sleep or rest.

That may be step number one of Noah realizing he is tired and laying down for a few minutes. Who knows one day he may try that and actually fall asleep.
