this weekend we worked the broadway tour of "buddy - the buddy holly story" when it came through town. i didn't know much about this show prior to this weekend. i worked on both lighting and the set, and overall it was a pretty easy show to work. we got the chance to see it on saturday afternoon. i'll admit it wasn't my favorite, but i'm always happy to see any show!

We enjoyed the show because we recognized all the songs. It was not as strong as some of the Broadway shows. We were glad that we ushered so we didn't have to pay for the tickets.
After intermission, the show got better because of all the music.
