prompton lake

on our drive home from the garden tour on sunday, we passed by prompton state park.  we had never been there before, so we decided to stop by for a moment to check it out.  we heard that there were trails around the lake, so we wanted to scope it out to see if it would be a good place for future for hiking or biking.  we walked down by the lake and it was really peaceful and serene.  hardly anyone was around, and the water was so calm.

while walking down to the edge of the lake i almost got hit by someone who was playing disc golf.  apparently there is an 18-hole disc golf course next to the lake, and i had absolutely no idea i was walking right through the middle of it.  (now i know what those funny looking cages on the poles are for . . . note to self.)  we look forward to going back to prompton state park sometime this summer with a picnic and our bikes, and i'll be sure to avoid the disc golfers!

love, laurie

I have never heard of that state park before. What town is it in?
